They therefore all come from people who have used our services. Verification is performed manually, either by reconciling the content of the review with the customer data on file in our CRM system (e.g. first and last name, type of session, date of the session), or by a customer’s express confirmation that a given review is their own. There are two types of reviews: 1. Reviews we have received via our internal review tool, and 2. Reviews we have received via an external platform. We send the link to our review form only to customers after their session. We also check these reviews against our customer records before publishing them. These reviews are recognizable on our website by the absence of any “Facebook review” or “Google review” label. Reviews received via an external platform such as Facebook or Google Maps and displayed on our website (recognizable by a “Google review” or “Facebook review” label) have been manually verified for authenticity as described above. By contrast, reviews received via an external platform such as Facebook or Google Maps whose authenticity we could not verify are filtered out and are **not** displayed on our website. Such reviews remain visible on those external platforms and may therefore come from people who have never used our services. On our website we show a selection: reviews with four or five stars. The average rating and the number of reviews we state, however, are calculated from all star ratings we have received—including those we do not show. Each person counts once, with their most recent review. Anyone who reviews us through our internal review tool receives a promo code for a photo session as a thank-you—regardless of what the review says.
