The most common worry before a family session: “What if the kids won’t cooperate?” Our answer: that’s completely normal—and no problem at all.
Practical tips for relaxed family photos:
Babies (0–12 months): bring your baby fed and well-rested. You’re welcome to take feeding breaks at any time. Our studio is warm enough for lightly dressed babies.
Toddlers (1–3 years): this age group is often the most unpredictable — and that is okay! Bring favorite toys or small snacks. We work with the kids’ natural energy.
Preschool / school-age kids (4–10 years): usually very cooperative and curious about the gear. Explain beforehand what is going to happen — kids love knowing what to expect.
Teenagers (11+): often skeptical at first, but quickly on board with the right approach. Take their opinion on the outfit seriously — they should feel comfortable.

- Make-up for mom (optional): during this time the kids can look around the studio and relax
- In front of the camera (60–90 min): different groupings (the whole family, just the parents, just the kids, individual portraits), different poses, with breaks as needed
- Choosing the images (about 30 min): picking the best photos together
Plan on about 2 hours from the start of your appointment for a full family session—a little longer with small children. That may sound long, but it is what keeps everyone relaxed and gives you the best results.
