The price shown covers the base fee for the session—the team’s work and your time in the studio—plus your favorite photo from all the shots taken (~80–100) as a high-resolution digital file.
What do additional photos cost?

Can the photos be taken outside?
These sessions take place in our conveniently located studio in Hamburg-Altona. If the weather cooperates, we’re happy to shoot nearby—we know plenty of great backdrop spots. For a dedicated outdoor session at the Hamburg harbour, HafenCity, or anywhere else in Hamburg, contact us and we’ll put together a custom quote.

What does a maternity photo session cost?
The maternity session is only €79 — including professional make-up, the session with 80–100 captures, and one fully retouched, full-resolution digital image. Partner and older sibling are included in the price. No obligation to buy more. Full price list →
When is the best time for maternity photos?
Ideally between weeks 30 and 36 of pregnancy. Any earlier and the bump often isn’t quite round enough yet; any later and standing or moving around can become tiring. That said—every pregnancy is different, and beautiful images at week 28 or 38 are absolutely possible. Just ask us.
How long does a maternity session take?
About 90 minutes total — with breaks, make-up, and image selection. We take our time, since standing for long stretches in pregnancy can be tiring. You set the pace.
What should I wear?
Soft, body-hugging fabrics are the classic choice (a top + long cardigan, a simple dress, or underwear + an open shirt). Bring 2–3 outfits—even a bare bump with a loose top, or a long flowing scarf, photographs beautifully.
Can my partner be in the photos?
Yes, very much so. Older siblings are very welcome too. Family photos before the birth make for a beautiful memory — at no extra cost.
Can I gift a maternity photo session?

Do you provide clothing or maternity dresses for the pregnancy session?
We don’t provide maternity dresses — please bring your own outfits, and feel free to bring several to change into. There’s a nice side effect: you feel most like yourself in your own clothes, and it shows in the pictures. Fitted dresses or tops that show the bump photograph especially well. For the couple shots we’d suggest simple, solid colors — in our experience that works best together. You’re very welcome to bring personal keepsakes too, like ultrasound images or a pair of baby shoes.
