What is a group photo session?
A group photo session puts everyone in front of one camera at the same time—your friends, your work team, your club, your band, your graduation year, or whoever showed up for the birthday. At BEAUTYSHOTS Hamburg a group session covers up to 6 people and starts at €149 in our Altona studio. Outdoor packages in Hamburg start at €199.

How many photos are included?
It depends on the package: 5 photos with the Studio package (€149), 3 with Outdoor Basic (€199), and 10 with Outdoor Superior (€299)—all fully retouched and in full resolution. We take 80–200 shots during the session, and the group picks the favorites together.
What do additional photos cost?
You can add more images right on the day, individually or as a package. Depending on quantity, the per-image price ranges from €5 to €39. See the full list here: Our photo packages →
Can we shoot outdoors?
Yes. The Studio package (€149) is indoors—rain or shine. The outdoor packages (starting at €199) take place in Hamburg, in Planten un Blomen or HafenCity for example. Outdoor Basic and Superior differ only in the number of included photos (3 vs. 10).

FAQ—Group Photo Session
What does a group photo session cost?
A group photo session at BEAUTYSHOTS Hamburg comes in three packages: Studio (€149, up to 6 people, 5 photos, 5 photos), Outdoor Basic (€199, up to 6 people, 3 photos) and Outdoor Superior (€299, up to 6 people, 10 photos). Each additional person is €15. The full breakdown is in the pricing section above or on our price list.
What is the difference between Studio, Outdoor Basic and Outdoor Superior?
Studio (€149) takes place in our Altona studio—rain or shine—and includes 5 fully retouched photos. Outdoor Basic (€199) and Outdoor Superior (€299) both take place outdoors in Hamburg, within about 5 km of the studio: Planten un Blomen and HafenCity are the usual spots. Basic and Superior differ only in how many photos are included—3 with Basic, 10 with Superior, because we take more shots on Superior.
How many people can join a group session?
Every package covers up to 6 people at the fixed price, and each additional person is €15. Larger groups work too—tell us the headcount in your inquiry so the studio can plan the room and the time. For anything above roughly 10 people we need a bit more lead time for logistics.
How long does a group photo session take?
Plan for about 2 hours including the session itself and picking your images together on screen. Outdoor Superior runs a little longer, because we take more shots (roughly 100–200 instead of 80–100).
We’re just two—is a group session the right choice?
For exactly two people the Best Friends session is the better fit at €79, including one fully retouched image. The group packages are built for three or more and are priced per session, not per head, so they start to pay off from the third person onward.
Is this the same as a bachelorette session?
The packages are identical—only the occasion differs. If you’re celebrating a bride or groom, book the bachelorette or bachelor party session, which puts the guest of honor at the center. For friends, work teams, clubs, bands, graduation groups or a milestone birthday, this page is the right one.
Can we book a group session after work?
Sessions run Monday to Saturday with start times between 10am and 6pm, so a late-afternoon or early-evening slot usually works for a team that finishes at five. There are no Sunday sessions. Name your preferred day and time in the inquiry form and we’ll check it with the studio.
Is this the same as business headshots?
No. A group session is the relaxed, personal version: your team together, group shots plus individual portraits, in the studio or outdoors in Hamburg. If what you actually need is a consistent set of professional headshots for the website and LinkedIn, look at our Business Headshots session instead.
What should we all wear?
Coordinated, not identical: all in earth tones, all in black, or one shared color across the group photographs beautifully. We don’t provide clothing, so bring your own—two outfits per person is plenty, plus any props that say something about your group (instruments, club scarves, graduation caps).
Can we give a group photo session as a gift?
Yes. A group session works well as a shared gift—for a milestone birthday, a team farewell, or a graduation. The voucher is transferable, valid for at least 3 years, and arrives by email. Mention it in the inquiry form and we’ll sort out the voucher with you.
Where does the group session take place?
