Someone put real thought into it and gifted you a photo session at BEAUTYSHOTS. Or you won one yourself on our prize wheel, snapped up an email offer, or simply bought a voucher for yourself.

This is going to be a great experience — promise. But you might be wondering: what happens next? What do I need to do? And what should I expect?

Don’t worry. In this article we walk you through the whole process step by step — from booking your date to your finished photo.

Step 1: Check your voucher

Your voucher carries a voucher code. That code is the key to your session. Make a note of it and keep it somewhere safe.

Your voucher is either a session voucher (for a specific session, e.g. Pretty Woman, Nude/Erotic, Couple) or a value voucher (a set amount you can put toward anything). Both work the same way — the only difference is whether the session is already fixed or whether you get to choose freely.

Not sure which kind you have? No problem — just email us the code, the voucher as a PDF, or a photo of it, and we’ll gladly check for you.

Step 2: Redeem your voucher online

Redeem your voucher through our online form: www.hh-bs.de — the link (HH for Hamburg, BS for BEAUTYSHOTS) is a redirect that takes you straight to the voucher redemption form on our site.

In the form you enter your voucher code and your details, then pick a free slot straight from our online calendar — no detours. Your slot is booked on the spot, and you’ll receive your booking confirmation by email with all the important details.

The whole process happens online — fast, easy, and available around the clock. Slots are open seven days a week, including afternoons until 6 p.m. and weekends.

Step 3: Getting ready

Once your date is set, you can start getting ready for your session. Here are the key points:

Outfits: Bring 2–3 outfits that suit the session you chose. Not sure what to wear? Our outfit guide helps you choose.

Make-up: Come with a clean, un-made-up face — professional make-up is included in your session and is done on site by our make-up artist.

Getting here: Our studio is in Hamburg-Altona, Beerenweg 1E, 22761 Hamburg. Leave yourself enough travel time so you arrive relaxed.

Timing: Plan for roughly 2–3 hours in total. That sounds like a lot, but the time is spread across the welcome and consultation, make-up, the session itself, and the image selection afterward.

Step 4: Session day

You arrive at the studio, our team welcomes you, and then you’re off. Make-up first, then the session. Our photographer guides you through every pose — you need zero experience in front of the camera. You’ll find more about how it all runs in our detailed process guide.

The most important part: have fun. The session is your experience. Enjoy it.

Step 5: Choosing your images and your photos

Right after the session you review the results together with the photographer on screen. Your voucher includes at least one fully edited photo — you pick your favorite, and we take care of the professional retouching.

Want more than one photo? You can select and add extra images right there on the spot. Many customers go for additional photos, but it’s entirely optional — there’s no pressure.

You receive your finished photo digitally in full resolution. Print it, share it, or turn it into wall art — it’s yours.

Frequently asked questions about your voucher

How long is my voucher valid?
By law, vouchers are valid for a maximum of 3 years. You’ll find the exact expiry date on your voucher, or just ask us. But don’t worry: vouchers bought directly from us are always accepted, even after the expiry date — possibly just adjusted to our current terms and offers.

Can I upgrade my session?
Yes. If you have a value voucher, you can put it toward any session you like. If the session price is higher than the voucher value, you simply pay the difference. With session vouchers too, you can add extras like additional photos on the spot.

Can I pass the voucher on to someone else?
Yes, our vouchers are transferable.

Can I bring someone along?
Of course. Many customers bring a friend or their partner — it can help you feel more at ease. For nude and erotic sessions, you decide for yourself whether you’d like company.

What if I need to reschedule?
No problem. Let us know as early as you can and we’ll find a new date. We’re flexible.

I’ve lost my voucher code.
Contact us via the contact form with the name of the person who bought the voucher and the approximate purchase date. We’ll find your voucher in our system.
