Here’s the short answer: every photo session at BEAUTYSHOTS Hamburg includes at least one finished, fully edited digital photo in full resolution. CV sessions cost €49, portraits €59, and most themed sessions—Beauty, couples, maternity, boudoir—€79. Additional photos are optional, chosen together with us right after your session, with no obligation to buy.
Captures versus finished photos: what your session actually produces
A photo session produces captures—raw images straight off the camera—and captures are not your finished photos. At BEAUTYSHOTS Hamburg, a creative session usually yields about 80–100 captures, CV sessions 40–50, a model or sedcard session up to 50, and our bachelorette Outdoor Superior package about 100–200.
Captures are working material. They include test frames, blinks, and near-misses—sorting through them is our job, not yours. The images you actually receive are the ones that survive your selection, each one composed individually during the session and then professionally finished by hand: light, tone, and detail refined until it’s genuinely done. We don’t rapid-fire a thousand frames and hope a few work. Every setup is deliberate, shot in a private, exclusive atmosphere, at a pace that lets you settle in front of the camera.
This is also why capture counts say so little. A hundred captures sound generous—but what matters is how many images you’ll actually want: on your wall, your sedcard, your desk at work. In our experience that’s a handful, and one image you love beats fifty you’d never frame. Quality over quantity is the whole idea.
How you choose your photos: the selection right after your session
The image selection is a joint review of your captures on screen, immediately after your session—about 30 minutes on most sessions. You sit down with us at the studio in Hamburg-Altona, see everything we shot, and mark your favorites as you go.
A note on timing, because it matters for planning: the time you pick in the booking calendar is when your appointment starts—not a time window, but a beginning. From that start, plan on about 2 hours for sessions with make-up: roughly 30 minutes of professional make-up, about an hour of shooting, and roughly 30 minutes to choose your photos. Without make-up—portrait, business, CV photos—plan on about 1.5 hours: about an hour of shooting plus roughly 30 minutes of selection.
During the selection you decide freely, image by image. Your included photo is already part of the session fee; anything beyond it, you add or you don’t. There’s no obligation to buy, no minimum purchase, and no script that funnels you toward a package. If one finished image is all you need, one finished image is all you take.

Order prints, and they’re printed in the studio on a high-quality photo printer and go home with you immediately. Decide through the online gallery instead, and your photos arrive within a week.
